Saturday, June 14, Day at the Park

Event Location: Morrisville Community Park, Morrisville, NC
Time: noon-10:00pm

It’s Morrisville’s biggest event of the year, and it’s right around the corner! The 18th Annual Day at the Park festival will be held on Saturday, June 14th from noon until 10pm at Morrisville Community Park, located off of Morrisville Parkway.

All of the old favorites will be back. Challenge your friends to climb the Rock Wall, or get them soaking wet with Water Wars! We’re bringing back all of the rides the kids will enjoy, and two adult rides.

We’re excited to present the return of “Morrisville Star,” a talent competition for amateur vocal soloists only, 13 years of age and older. Each performer will have 5 minutes to wow our panel of judges, and will be judged on vocal ability, stage presence, song choice, appearance, and entertainment value.

The grand prize for this event will be an hour-long recording session at a local studio! Register by June 8th at Cedar Fork Community Center or Morrisville Aquatics and Fitness Center.

The entertainment continues with music by the Band of Oz, Avalanche (Southern Rock/Pop), and the Falcon Park Jazz Orchestra (Big Band/Swing). Of course, we’ll finish off the night with a brilliant fireworks display.

Advanced carnival ride and game wristbands are $10.00 and will be on sale from May 5 – June 13 at either community center or the Parks and Recreation Administrative Office. Wristbands may be purchased the day of the festival for $15.00, and individual tickets will also be available the day of the event for $2.00.
